Be it Easter, Mid Summer, Halloween, Christmas, New Year's Eve or Wassail Time, you'll always find the landlady leading the fun with the best of them. And during the Christmas and New Year period, a whole range of entertainers dropped in, including carol singers, mummers players and as a special treat, the local Isca Morrismen who perform each lunchtime on Boxing Day.

In come we, the Isca Mummers with a little number collected locally . . . . . . and I'll fight the heathen turk with my trusty chair by my side . . . . .

. . . but look 'e here - it's the fairy off the xmas tree - put him down you don't know where he's been, try the turkish knight instead !

. . . well performance over, let's party . . .

. . . well you did say the drinks were on the house !!
